The wool we reserve for our yarn is grown on American farms & ranches.
These farmers & ranchers are our neighbors, friends and family. We can drive to their ranch and see the sheep. They are holding to great animal care standards, and this is something we can verify. We are happy to support their businesses, which are mostly family owned and operated as we are!

Is your wool processed in a facility that is responsible with their watershed and employees health?
Ours is cleaned and superwashed at Chargeurs Wool USA. They ensure the lowest possible environmental impact & they are EPA regulated.
Side note: Chargeurs is the only Superwash and Top producing facility in the USA.
American Milled
Are you paying tariffs on goods coming from outside of the states?
We say that's not necessary. The reason for the tax is to encourage the purchasing of US made goods.
Our yarn is commercially spun and plied to ensure integrity batch after batch. The American mills we work with are confidential. One was founded 2 centuries ago, they are internationally certified for quality and consistency. The other is a newer family operated mill.
We are so happy to be partaking in this industry and continuing the tradition of wool yarn.
For a textile to be American Made is not just to be dyed in the US, but it is also to be grown, processed & manufactured in the USA as well.
