As the morning light breaks through, the birds begin to sing, the world awakens again. It's a beautiful picture that I sleep through more often than I should. There's something relaxing, clarifying, and simple to watching and listening to the world awakening. My cup of coffee only lasts so long, and life continues as it always does... but for a moment, time stood still. That reminds me of a song Cat Stevens sang (he didn't write it, though I always thought he did)... "Morning Has Broken"
"Morning has broken like the first morning
Blackbird has spoken like the first bird
Praise for the singing, praise for the morning
Praise for the springing fresh from the world"
- Cat Stevens / Eleanor Farjeon
This is a Kaleidoscope of soft subtle colors. Peaches and cream swirl with a dirty grey for a simple-beauty effect. If I put my ear to a skein of this yarn, I can hear the birds singing at dawn.
Dyed on our Sprout base in Sock/Fingering weight.
Complementing Colors: Nectar, Milk & Honey, Birch, Georgia Peach, Birch, Natural, Desert Rose, Smoke, Wenge

What is Sprout?
The wool is from American grown Merino Sheep flocks. Farmers/Ranchers who grow with care for their wool and health of their flock.
American Grown
The wool is combed before it's twisted. This eliminates small fibers that itch, plus it aids durability as it leaves only longer wool fibers.
Worsted... Spun?
To replace Silk, nylon was blended to wool in the 40's for added durability and shape retention. With only 10%, you won't know the it's there, but it's doing it's job.
Why Nylon?
Over-twisting makes the yarn stronger and splitting difficult. With a Balanced S-twist, it's great for knitting! (With a tight ply, crocheters need not worry about untwisting.)
