Reece has seemingly always enjoyed watching Bob Ross paint... but who doesn't. His gentle voice and consistent positivity are what drew us to him. Also, he could paint... and his passion was to teach us the art that he fell in love with. Truly, he was an American treasure.
His iconic afro defined him, and he became an unmistakable in his denim on denim. And this is exactly what Reece sought to capture in this colorway.
Dyed by Reece, age 12, in our Rainbow Soup Collection... (Don't worry, the dyeing is done under professional supervision)
A Kaleidoscope look with a darker blue to denim (Bob's pants and shirt), a soft peach for his face, and Mocha brown for his beard & fro.
Dyed on our Sprout base in Sock/Fingering weight.
Single Colors we recommend: Midsummer's Night, Mocha, Denim, Worn, Birch, Blue Bird, Navy, Nectar, Natural

What is Sprout?
The wool is from American grown Merino Sheep flocks. Farmers/Ranchers who grow with care for their wool and health of their flock.
American Grown
The wool is combed before it's twisted. This eliminates small fibers that itch, plus it aids durability as it leaves only longer wool fibers.
Worsted... Spun?
To replace Silk, nylon was blended to wool in the 40's for added durability and shape retention. With only 10%, you won't know the it's there, but it's doing it's job.
Why Nylon?
Over-twisting makes the yarn stronger and splitting difficult. With a Balanced S-twist, it's great for knitting! (With a tight ply, crocheters need not worry about untwisting.)
