These are areas that look like they should be deep water, but it's incredibly shallow - an invitation from the sea to get out of the boat and walk around. These shallows create this beautiful teal-green water, the colors you see here.
A Watercolor dye style, a technique that creates a blended color using multiple shades of the same color family; look closely, the individual colors show through and don't interfere with your pattern! This is a unique combination of bright teal (Clearwater) with aqua and chartreuse speckles. It's incredibly simple & clean.
*From the editor: This color was very hard to photograph, seemingly, this color does not exist in an iPhones data base. I tried to edit it properly, but the photos just don't do it justice.
Dyed on our Sprout base in Sock weight.

What is Sprout?
The wool is from American grown Merino Sheep flocks. Farmers/Ranchers who grow with care for their wool and health of their flock.
American Grown
The wool is combed before it's twisted. This eliminates small fibers that itch, plus it aids durability as it leaves only longer wool fibers.
Worsted... Spun?
To replace Silk, nylon was blended to wool in the 40's for added durability and shape retention. With only 10%, you won't know the it's there, but it's doing it's job.
Why Nylon?
Over-twisting makes the yarn stronger and splitting difficult. With a Balanced S-twist, it's great for knitting! (With a tight ply, crocheters need not worry about untwisting.)
